About this deal

I understand about its quiet characteristic non-scream type but still I prefer a better longevity and projection. Nothing not to like here infact I think it's excellent in many ways a sweet yet ever so slightly dry, woody composition which many will enjoy. It's one for the office or something serious, not one for play or romance (unless your other half particularly likes it, of course). This is certainly more similar to Lalique White, or that hybrid described above, than it is to Prada L'homme.

Seeing that pepper is a note, I'd say it's actually pretty prominent throughout - though without a list of notes, you wouldn't think it was the element adding an edge to this.

Far higher citrus, wood and spice shares make BPHE a much more ordinary fresh scent, although I would have expected otherwise.

Only fragrance that can be worn in interviews, this is a unique composition, clean, professional and very comforting, there’s nothing like it. At the time, I didn't think about the individual ingredients, but I think tea, flowers and (especially) musk, along with citrus notes, work together to give the original its distinctive character, which I find extremely pleasing. Now I really enjoy it on warmer spring days as well as summer and I am so glad I didnt get rid of it as its now going for a lot more than I'd be willing to pay for this kind of scent.

If some say that you have to re apply from time to time then Im not gonna gripe about it, I'll re apply, no problem. The listed notes, to the extent they are discernable at all, dissipate fast leaving a clean, inoffensive soapy scent that is noticeable only when your nose is right against your skin. It is the only one of their fragrances (one of the only ones in the world anymore) that doesn't have this ubiquitous fragrance chemical that turns my stomach!

When I first encountered BPH, it was almost a decade after its release (2006) and I bought it scent unsniffed, from an online retailer after reading the reviews of Fragranticans far wiser and experienced than myself. The best part of this fragrance is definitely the clean, smooth, sexy musk that lingers for days on your clothes, and will still be their when you shower. Perfect for warm weather: it brings a refreshing cloud that it is not marine, but still evokes the pleasure of water touching the skin and the feeling of immersion. It's rather minimalistic, so probably not interesting for someone whose nose needs to be entertained with development and nouances, but for a normal user it's a great style accessory.I appreciate the relaxing tea vibe this fragrance gives off, but if I have to be brutally honest this fragrance smells like a wet teabag. To me this is vetyver just a hint smoky, with some herbs way in the background, mainly tea, an illusion almost of guaiac and nutty vibes and a pinch of pepper. I wouldn't say this is feminine but I would love this scent on a woman, not so much the Extreme version.

If a warm iceberg melted and you filtered the water into a cup and added tea leaves on your yacht, this would be it. Apart from the intense mandarin, nutmeg and tea top notes I would like to add a very elegant mastic note that becomes sweeter during the middles. If I'm not feeling well, I'll spray some on, close my eyes and just enjoy every moment of the dry down. This reminds me of Creeds Pure White Cologne, without the floral vibe and a way more stronger citrus. The deliciously crafted notes disappear almost as fast as one applies it to his/her skin, as if my flesh were the fabric of a super massive black hole.I think Spring/Autumn will be the best time to wear this and it may be a good neutral work scent, although there are other more interesting fragrances out there. Maybe it's just me but I don't feel that this is super gentlemanly or masculine either, it's unique, but tending toward the quality fresh mens' fragrances of the 2000s/2010s.
