For mild issues regular use of Sole Cleanse is advised, once problems are cleared up this is easy to apply and inexpensive to use as a preventative. Field Paste is intended to be used on the hoof and frog, we do not recommend using it elsewhere in case it causes irritation. The Sateen is applied to a Coloured Cloth Mop by cutting about an inch off and dicing it and making it into a paste with a small amount of hot water.

Hi Sandra, We have spoken to Red Horse regarding this, and they have advised that if the abscess is still active, you should follow your vet's advice and not apply this Field Paste. After one week the foul, diseased smell had gone completely and had started to clear from the frogs.
