Smells like Buttery Vanilla I wouldn’t say I thought it smelled like popcorn, but I can see how others thought it smelled that way. This is my sweet escape with notes of caramelised vanilla, sea salt, and a touch of toasted macadamia nut. if you're not a true gourmand lover, i definitely think that this could be too much and too cloying--you would be better off trying some of the other sol de janeiro scents. there is a strong scent upon spraying it and the dry down stays on my skin and clothes for a while, however, the sillage isn't as great in my opinion. i think i tend to overvisualize and 'paint a picture' in my mind when i come across these different perfume scents, but it speaks to the strength and uniqueness of a perfume when it paints such a vivid standalone picture in my mind such as this one.

i tested it out with high hopes as a sweet/vanilla perfume lover even though i heard negative things about 71, and on first spray it literally smelt like burnt popcorn at a movie theater, and NOT the good kind!

The first hour or so is nutty, chocolatey, but after a few hours there is the most glorious caramel butter popcorn dry-down. I prefer the 68 and I just smelled the radiance (yellow) bottle and I think those smell much better. My boyfriend described it as "caramel filled chocolate pralines" and I have to agree, it is insanely delicious! It has Top notes of Caramelized Vanilla, Sea Salt, mid notes of Toasted Macadamia Nut, White Chocolate and dry notes of Tonka Bean, Coconut Blossom.

Not super wearable but I love putting this on before bed, definitely not suitable for warmer weather.

wafts of coconut, vanilla and a nuttiness circling around an aroma of caramel popcorn, like you had just experienced all those sweet treats and some baked goods at the fair and had come home in a sleepy stupor. when it dried down, the smell became a bit tolerable, but still sickened me due to how too sweet and oily it smelled.

almost everyone i know agrees that its amazing except my brother hates it he says there's a cream cheese smell ? I did one spritz on my wrist, rubbed them together, rubbed it on my pulse points (behind ear, inner elbows, etc), and then forgot I about it. I was not sure I'll wear it at all until I saw a tiktok where a girl layered it with MFK grand soir. I love it on its own but i like to layer it with a vanilla body oil and a musky vanilla perfume for more longevity and depth. There’s definitely still a buttery scent that I think is supposed to be the caramel, but it just reads as butter to me. I'm not getting the 'buttered popcorn' dry-down that others have noted; to me, I smell more chocolate or the toasted macadamia. I loved gourmands (notice past tense) but this spray made me realize I don’t love straight up sweet-only smells.
