I have to agree with how much of the centre of the LP that is not used the lip cut on the 2nd disc is ridiculously small. Contains the original 20 songs from the GRAMMY™ and EMMY™ Award-winning special, 13 tracks from The Inside Outtakes, and 13 score tracks. If you enjoy the musical comedy stylings of Bill Bailey, Tim Minchin, or Flight Of The Conchords , then there's a lot for you to like here.

Free Love’s debut EP Luxury Hits was released in 2018 to much critical acclaim ( “a groovy fever dream” – Line of Best Fit) and saw them shortlisted for the Scottish Album of the Year Award (Suzi and Lewis’s third SAY Award nomination in all, following two under the Happy Meals moniker). Free Love’s euphoric live show has seen them tour Europe, USA, India and Russia with the likes of The Flaming Lips, Liars and James Holden and The Animal Spirits, with Suzi often tearing through the audience centring the energy in the middle of the room over the live hardware electronics operated by Lewis from the stage turning into a ritualistic communal catharsis. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.A closer inspection reveals quite a lot of dimples in the vinyl, which might indicate a subpar pressing. As well as performing their debut Boiler Room live set from their home studio during lockdown, the band remixed music for Django Django and Charlotte Gainsbourg.

It was followed in 2019 by the mini-album Extreme Dance Anthems (“music to move both body and mind” – Clash). What began as an outlet for their shared love for sixties Motown, soon became a jewel in the Yorkshire scene’s creative crown, with millions of Spotify streams to their name and some of hip-hop and pop’s most exciting emerging voices requesting collaborations: Celeste, Kali Uchis, Cosima and Chester Watson are just a few of the acts the band have individually written/produced for.No skips on my copy, a little bit of crackling and popping here and there which I personally like on a record. The album more than stands on its own, serving up earworm hooks and whip-smart analysis on everything from capitalism to the yawning pit of hell that is the Internet.

To celebrate this anniversary, we are proud to re-release ‘Inside In Inside Out’, and for the first time as a 1LP studio album version. The only thing though is when I took it out of the wrap the spine seemed to shift and now the spine with the wording on the side is a little offset, which isn't a huge deal and might fix itself over time. Only downside is I cracked open the seal and one disc is yellow translucent while the other disc is plain black😂 What are the odds? FKA Happy Meals, Free Love and their music are a conscious study in duality: thumping live tracks and meditational mantras, pop songs and esoteric experiments, acoustic and electronic instrumentation, lyrics in French and English, the Masculine and the Feminine, all side-by-side.
