About this deal

Although at times the confines of the one setting and limited characters meant that the story was a little slow at times, it was elevated by the fact that, for once, it was a very well edited and polished novel which is rare on here as most of the books I've read have at least one mistake.

You're going to want to stay up until you finish the book, and then once you're done, you'll probably have a little excess adrenaline that will keep you awake longer. There's not much to the rest stop—some coffee and hot cocoa, a few vending machines, and four strangers. In fact, Elizabeth Zott would be the first to point out that there is no such thing as an average woman.Jay, the little girl trapped in the van, escapes and reveals herself to Ed and Sandi all on her own before fainting.

The 13 chapters of The Art of War, each devoted to one aspect of warfare, were compiled by the high-ranking Chinese military general, strategist, and philosopher Sun-Tzu. Sometimes I wanted to slap Darby for her decisions because I just felt so invested in what was happening and my heart was fucking racing and alksjdlkajs ANXIETY. I was waiting with bated breath for the final few pages to see what would happen and was certainly satisfied with the ending. Everything interlinked and connected together and the author never gave any hint of it away in her style of writing so you couldn't of guessed or predicted at all, which I thought was very cleverly written. Pretty much since the moment Taylor Adams’ thriller No Exit was published in 2017, I’d heard rave reviews from every corner of the internet.

His directorial work has screened at the Seattle True Independent Film Festival and he is an avid fan of suspenseful fiction and film. i have seen nothing but rave reviews for this, so im sad that i didnt enjoy it as much as everyone else. But I do just have to reiterate what a freakin’ DELIGHT it was to read a thriller that fully leans into its over-the-top qualities without ever losing sight of the plot. Trapped in an increasingly dangerous situation on the edge of civilization, with a child's life and her own on the line, Darby must find a way to break the girl out of the van and escape. The plot of Taylor Adams’ thriller No Exit — which is batshit, blow-your-mind, what-the-FUCK-just-happened crazy — should not work.

Adams does for highway rest stops what Stephen King did for shuttered resort hotels, psychotic nurses and clowns under bridges. There are a 4 people there that have obviously had the same idea and are already caffeinated, so Darby joins them and introduces herself, after all, it;s going to be a long evening. This new compilation of her published work features pieces on why you should pursue purpose over passion, embrace negative thinking, see the wisdom in daily routine, and become aware of the cognitive biases that are creating the way you see your life. Between 1942 and 1945 Frankl labored in four different camps, includiI had a few issues with feeling like this read was a little scattered and felt like there was maybe just a little too much going on for such a short book but overall I was impressed and thrilled while reading this.
