About this deal

Add to standard emulsion paint and mix thoroughly until an even colour is achieved. Apply mixed paint as per the paint manufacturer’s instructions. Rempro thermal paint is a water-based internal emulsion which will drastically reduce condensation formation by utilising Glass Microsphere technology. When incorporated into a paint film, glass spheres act as miniature thermos-like bottles, providing a thermal barrier between cold surfaces and the warmer ambient temperature within a living space. Condensation is controlled as the air is insulated against the colder wall surface. This, in turn, inhibits mould and fungal growth. Some of the condensation & mould issues we faced (the other corner was even worse!) Lots of research led us to one product… You can use the anti-condensation paints on surfaces that carry a little bit of damp or humidity in different forms like water vapors. It works effectively in humid areas or the basement. But you can’t apply it on the surface from where the river is flowing and expect that it eliminates that water because it is just a coating, not magic. Texture of Paint For us, a primer wasn’t required as the wall was already painted previously. However, we did do two coats as that was recommended by the manufacturer. If we had done fewer coats, the paint might not have worked as effectively as it does. Drying Time

Walls painted with Rempro thermal paint feel warmer to the touch as the heat from your hand is reflected instead of being drawn to the colder surface of the wall and escaping. However, you can look at others’ experiences to get more of an idea about this. By doing this, you will be able to make your choice with far greater ease.

While we have a positive pressure ventilation system installed which has solved our most serious condensation issues, the rooms with 3 external walls needed a little extra help. Hence, that’s why we tried anti-condensation paint. Depending on the amount you need to cover your surfaces, you may need to buy more than one can. Also, bear in mind that you may need to apply a second coat. Storage: Store safely in frost-free conditions away from direct sunlight, sources of heat and foodstuffs There are major kinds of paints manufactured: Oil paints, and Latex paints. The oil-based paints are formulated with natural or synthetic oils. These paints are the most durable and used by the people who planned to not paint their homes often. These paints are also effective against mold growth and condensation. However, the oil paint takes more time to dry and stains of oil paint cannot be removed easily so you need a thinner, spirit, or turpentine for this purpose.

Rempro Thermal Paint

The anti-condensation paint was a relatively cheap way to stop our condensation issues without going to that extent. Is Anti Mould Paint The Same As Anti Condensation Paint?
