We do not prefer any of the saintly men among the Ummah over any of the Prophets but rather we say that any one of the Prophets is better than all the awliya' put together. CD 5: Knowledge of the unseen; Magic & fortune-telling; Sacrifices; Rulings of statues & symbols of remembrance Clarifying the sound Muslim Creed and calling people to believe in it, is the most crucial issue because it is the foundation on which one's deeds are judged whether denied or accepted. This book gives clear explanation of the Muslim sound creed as pointed out in the Quran and Sunnah.Whoever does not guard himself from negating the Attributes of Allah or likening Allah to something else has strayed and has not correctly understood the transcendence of Allah, for our Lord Almighty is described with the Attributes of Oneness, qualified with the qualities of uniqueness. He does not have the characteristics of any creature. [45] The Garden and the Fire are created things that never come to an end and we believe that Allah created them before the rest of creation and then created people to inhabit each of them. Whoever He wills goes to the Garden out of His Bounty and whoever He wills goes to the Fire through His justice.

Aqidah linguistically is derived from the term aqada. In Arabic, one states, "Aqada the rope" when the rope is tied firmly. And, "Aqada the sale" or "He settled the sale" when the person ratifies and contracts a sale or agreement. And Allah says in the Quran, "And as for those whom your right hands have made a covenant (Ar., aqadat)" [Al-Nisa 33]. And Allah also says, "But He will take you to task for the oaths which you swear in earnest (Ar., aqadtum) [Al-Maida, 89] which means asserted and adhered to, as proven in the verse, "And break not oaths after the assertion of them" [An-Nahl, 91]. If one says, "Aqadtu such and such," it means his heart is firm upon such and such. In this book, all important and fundamental aspects of Islam are described in an easy form of question/answer, so that the basic concepts may be inscribed in the minds of the readers. Shaikh Muhammad bin Jamil Zeno is originally from Syria, but for a long time he has been a teacher in Dar-ul-Hadith AlKhairiyah, Makkah AlMukarramah. Besides being a great scholar, he is also the author and compiler of many books. He holds the honor to have a place in the rank of those authors of present time whose work has been widely accepted. Then he mentioned these basic beliefs, and the total number of things he mentioned was 105 things believed by Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah in general. The author is the imam, muhaddith and faqeeh Abu Ja’far Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Salaamah al-Tahhaawi – who is named after a village in Upper Egypt – he studied with many Shaykhs and learned from them and benefited from them, and he listed their number as three hundred Shaykhs. We do not agree with killing any of the Ummah of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, unless it is obligatory by Shari'ah to do so.A beneficial commentary, with special attention to the Qur’anic verses proving each tenet of belief. It contains a number of beneficial discussions, not found in other available commentaries.

We believe in all these things. We do not make any distinction between any of the messengers, we accept as true what all of them brought. Abdur-Rahman ibn Yusuf Mangera (12 September 2014). The most important subject for a Muslim to comprehend is Allah’s monotheism and the full implications of that belief, as without that, no act of worship or good deed is accepted by Allah, nor rewarded in the hereafter. Sameh Strauch has rendered one of the finest books on this subject into English, and he provides explanations of every major point. The sole aim of al-Tahawi was to give a summary of the theological views of Abu Hanifa, the founder of the Hanafi school, as he states at the very beginning of his work that it is written in accordance to the methodology of the jurists, Abu Hanifa, Abu Yusuf and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Shaybani. However, it can be said to represent the creed of both the Ash'aris and the Maturidis, especially the latter, given his being a follower of the Hanafi school. The Shafi'i scholar Taj al-Din al-Subki (d. 771/1370) writes that the followers of the four main schools of law, the Hanafis, the Malikis, the Shafi'is and the Hanbalis are all one in creed: [3] To Allah belong the most beautiful and perfect Names, so invoke Him by them. Abandon those who desecrate His Names, they will be recompensed for what they did.? From the most noble and lofty stations of cognisance is to know the Lord, the Glorious, through His beauty. This is the knowledge possessed by the elite of this creation. All of them know Him through an Attribute from amongst His Attributes but those amongst them who have the most complete cognisance are those who have most complete cognisance are those who know Him through His perfection, magnificence and beauty. There is only one religion of Allah in the heavens and the earth and that is the religion of Islam. Allah says: 'Surely religion in the sight of Allah is Islam'. (Al 'Imran 3: 19) And He also says: 'I am pleased with Islam as a religion for you'. (al-Matidah 5: 3)

(al-Anbiya' 21: 23) Ibn-Abi-Al-Izz, Ibn Abi. Commentary on The Creed of At-Tahawi. Al-Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. pp.xxxiv.We believe in the angels, and the Prophets, and the books which were revealed to the messengers, and we bear witness that they were all following the manifest Truth. Aqidatut Tahoviya sharhining talxiysi, Muhammad Anwar Badakhshani's "Talkhees Sharh Al Aqeedah Al-Tahawiyya" translated by Sheikh Muhammad Sadik Muhammad Yusuf. [36] The basis of providence is that it is a secret of Allah Almighty in His creation. [56] It has not been shown to an angel near to Him, nor to a prophet He sent. Delving and investigating deeply into that is a cause of loss, a ladder to deprivation, and a degree of transgression. [57] We do not accept as true what soothsayers and fortune-tellers say, nor do we accept the claims of those who affirm anything which goes against the Book, the Sunnah and the consensus of the Muslim Ummah. Belief is, at base, the same for everyone, but the superiority of some over others in it is due to their fear and awareness of Allah, their opposition to their desires, and their choosing what is more pleasing to Allah.
