The floral notes are much more defined in Wave 2 in comparison to the original Wave, which will likely be the point that makes up your mind over if you like or disconnect from this fragrance as everyone's beach locales vary on where you live and everyone has different beach memories; I live in the north of England so don't have lush floral coastlines, and my strongest beach memories are of lotion and fruity drinks. |Now that I'm building up a bit more of a modern designer collection, I'm not sure I'll be keeping this guy in my rotation, but its given me quit literally, like 15 years of off and on solid service, and I commend that. Probably the longest running scent I've had over the years. The fragrance opens with an electric spark of juicy citruses notes. Making way for wild orchid, sunset hibiscus and California Poppy. Warm, enveloping woods and amber create the perfect balance in the base illustrating the warm summers evening. Product Specification I was really impressed with enormous sillage and even better longevity for such a cheap perfume. Like...wow

Believe the people who say this has ridiculously short longevity. It’s not just their skin. This won’t last longer on you. It’s unbelievable how it just disappears! Going by the scent notes I thought that I'd really enjoy Wave 2, but I've found that the strong floral notes do separate me from the beachy memories that the fruity opening brings. I really enjoy the beachy feel of the base, but the lingering florals do take me out of the 'beachy haze' a bit. On its own merits, the scent is excellent for a beach day. It is overworn by the teenage Hollister crowd, so it may associate with a younger audience. However, at 23 I still spray this occasionally during the summer and it gets complements when applied conservatively and allowed to dry down. This is a nice variation among my summer scents though, since I don't usually go for the aquatic and salty ones. Great for use at the beach with that salty beachy sea salt vibe in it. |Wave 2 For Her by Hollister is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Wave 2 For Her was launched in 2017. Top notes are Coconut Nectar, Peach and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Tiare Flower, Water Lily and Pink Freesia; base notes are Sand, Driftwood and Orchid.I think this is good for what it is. Its suitable for a younger crowd being hollister. Doesnt project or last much but it smells delicious on the skin. Cheap, spray as much as you wish, hot day scent that you can bring with you on vacation. This is a perfect swimming scent, and one you can again OVERSPRAY. A fragrance worn all throughout my teenage years. This was THE fragrance to wear right behind Abercrombie & Fitch's Fierce, which would capture the attention of everyone within a few feet of you. This fragrance smells very clean and fresh with a hint of muskiness to it and can be worn all day and even into the night when the sun starts to set. However this can work anytime of year because it dries down to floral, wood and musk. its very chill.

I could call myself a summer scent collector (and user of course), since I spend such a large amount of the year travelling in countries with pretty hot and humid climates. Very slight Invictus vibe but not as much as Zara Seoul or A&F First Instict Together. It smells good but not amazing. I prefer A&F First Instict Together over this. I'll give it 6/10. This is a great value for a clean, interesting shower scent. It holds well with a light spray in my experience. It starts out very zesty and zingy, and becomes more "Hollister store" unisex as it develops. I personally feel this smells quite expensive as freshies go, rather than smelling like a typical citrus body mist from the drugstore. Love: the scent!!! It's so perfect for a teenage guy and it smells exactly like the hollister shops. It is just delicious.I think if I'm honest with myself, I will hardly ever reach for this as I am a gourmand lover at heart, but I respect it and it almost hurts me a little to resell it. If it weren't for the strong presence of patchouli after it dries down, I would probably keep it. And to be clear I think the patch fits very well here; I just have never liked it. This smells very nice and summerish. Actually, the first thing my male friend said was: "oh yummy, this smells like the beach! ". So the name is not totally wrong. Great value, good cologne. Soft yet addictive. Though it reminds many people of the headache causing dark corridors of hollister, i highly recommend investing in it as hollister dips lower in popularity. A woodsy yet vanilla scent. Great to combine with other soft colognes for a unique personal scent. Like the one million its a great cover up scent, without being too obvious.

This is my shameless "I want to smell like a boy" smell. That's all there is to it. It's very shower gel-y, very bright. It turns a bit salty after a couple of minutes. Maybe a touch of coconut if you try really, really hard to convince yourself it’s there. It is a pretty manly smell. Girls seems to love this scent. Just have to make sure not to over do it, and let it dry down before entering the world. |This fragrance is made for a girl with youthful spontaneity and personality. Days spent with her friends mean everything to her, as they plan their fun around the sun.I literally don't dislike anything about this fragrance. The longevity, sillage, concentration, and scent are all perfect to me. It's a outstanding sweet men's cologne. Perfect for summer work days, or after shower (anytime of year) because it is cheap, and it is mild. its nice to go to bed smelling like this.

The resemblance is truly uncanny and even the bottle shapes of both and colour scheme of the bottles and caps are very very similar... Oooooh noo! To my nose this smells like a bunch of VERY overripe exotic fruits mixed with honey. I can't make out the coconut note from the other loud fruity notes. I'm not getting any flowers in this. If you took a jar, mixed in honey, salt water, coconut water, flower nectar, and some fermenting fruits this is what it would smell like.Socal is a lovely warm and adventurous scent. It's like coming out of the woods and stepping into your shed with a freshly chopped conifer tree over your shoulder, while someone's making you fresh caramel. At first I get the sweetness that remind me of the honey and the salt from the sand. Maybe a hint of coconut water and fruit but just a hint. After the first twenty minutes or so it just fades into a floral skin scent, mainly the tiare flower. Years ago when I used to work at Hollister, we would douse the store in this stuff. I know people hated that but honestly it was so much fun lol I wonder if they still do that. This smell brings alot of nostalgia for me and honestly smells really good.
