In a way, yes. But in another way, no. There's a little bit of history between the brand names and how it's all come to be under just the EPOS name now, but the bottom line is that Sennheiser's gaming audio has been folded into EPOS now - and the pedigree remains there. The Sennheiser GSP 670 is the brand’s latest swing at creating the Holy Grail of gaming headsets: a wireless set with audiophile-level sound quality. This result is satisfactory, but still remains a bit low compared to the respective 24 and 30 hours delivered by the RIG 800 and the HyperX Cloud Flight.The EPOS GTW 70 Hybrid wireless gaming earbuds focus on offering a high-end audio experience for Switch and mobile gaming. The microphone of the Sennheiser GSP 670 fulfills its mission brilliantly and is even placed as a reference among wireless headsets. We just can’t find anything to complain about. The signal is powerful, clean and perfectly balanced. The GSP 300 headset is a great starting point for those looking to get into Sennheiser gaming headsets - but one that can also stand in its own right given the quality, and value in particular, that it offers. As I said in my review, "getting a Sennheiser-quality headset like this, at this price point, and with this device-versatility, is an excellent proposition and one that is easy to recommend". Although the GSP 370s make it somewhat hard to truly, truly go for the more expensive 670, if you're after supreme Sennheiser quality, then this is the headset for you. Its performance across games of any stripe, as well as media, is supreme. In any game, it doesn't matter what's going on or what the scenario or surroundings are, the GSP 670s will give you world-beating audio clarity, depth, breadth, and detail.

First off there is a key bit of housekeeping to make you aware of: Sennheiser headsets will now be sold under the EPOS brand name. After a de-merger in 2020, the products were sold under the 'EPOS | Sennheiser' mantle, but now, if you're looking for a Sennheiser gaming headset, you'll actually be purchasing an EPOS gaming headset in the end. Do not let this put you off in any way, however: the Sennheiser quality and reputation remain, and is enhanced through EPOS's input. As a result, some of these models are still - and will become - some of the best gaming headsets. On that note, the presentation of teammates' voice audio is also great in the GSP 500s and better than the 300s overall - voices can be difficult for gaming headsets to master, but the GSP 500 is one of the best Sennheiser gaming headsets for this. The headband is relatively flexible and supports twists well, while the plastic used seems relatively dense. The brand has made the effort to choose rather light materials; nevertheless the size of the headset makes it quite heavy (400 g). The upside, though, is comfort: both the headband and the earcups sit on an average-sized head without distress, and the width of the band allows even larger-headed players (like the reviewer) to enjoy lengthy sessions without discomfort. If you don’t mind faux leather, the earcups are perfectly functional, and the way they operate and noise-cancelling muffs, too, should be lauded. It offers wonderfully balanced audio and has one of the best mics I’ve ever tested on a gaming headset. The bottom edge of the left earcup holds the micro USB port for charging, along with a status LED and a Bluetooth pairing slider. A chat volume dial can be found on the bottom edge of the right earcup, along with a programmable smart button that switches between equalizer presets by default. In terms of comfort, the GSP 670 features plush earpads and an adjustable headband, ensuring a comfortable fit for long gaming sessions. The headset also has intuitive controls, allowing users to adjust the volume and other settings easily. The battery life of the GSP 670 provides up to 20 hours of playtime, ensuring extended use without the need for frequent recharging. Even if we expected a more careful finish (you can easily spot many assembly marks), especially for a headset in this price range, the whole thing seems very robust. No parts creak or squeak after more than a month of daily use. The 7.1 surround sound doesn’t match the Audeze Mobius for pure immersion, but it works well enough and gives audio a clear sense of direction.
